Seriously, if you are looking for advice b/c you are considering getting a tattoo (back there), I wouldn't if I were you. Here are my reasons: It's popularly called a "Tramp Stamp" and it will be stuck there forever. This means that when you are older, and your elderly husband is helping you put on your adult diapers, he will get to see "Hottie" surrounded by wrinkles, rosacea, disoloration and scabs...
Boy some of these grandpas are gonna be lucky men! Hope this helps! Why not get a temporary tattoo and smile as it washes off...while your girlfriends pout when they suffer for months and pay out the wazzoo for theirs to be removed!

Well, some people call that a "tramp stamp" because people who get a tattoo on their lower back all tend to be the same kind of person, easy. Think about what it says about you. The kind of girl who gets that kind of tattoo is the kind of girl who likes to go out at night, drink alcohol, flirt a lot with guys, and occasionally go home with a guy.
Now, i'm not saying YOU'RE that way, but if I saw a girl with a tattoo like that, I automatically think that, even tho it may not be true. It's just like seeing a girl's G-string poking out when she bends over to pick something up. What does that say about her?
It's like, if you're "wild" enough to get a tattoo, getting drunk and flirting with guys is probably less of a big deal, and do it often.
Anyway, that's what I think about it. Unfortunately, the majority of women who have that kind of tattoo, tend to act in a trampy way, giving a bad name to the women who don't. That was my honest opinion, not trying to be mean or anything.

Indeed Anthony. I would think of a woman with such a tattoo, as a misguided crowd follower. those tattoos arent exactly small either. Shall be a roaring trade in removing those lower back tattoo in 10/20 years time.
It sounds like youre considering getting one, only get on if you REALLY want one, as this fashion is at the end of its shelf life

I honestly don't like it.
While I have a few tattoos myself I for some reason don't find them attractive on females. I'm not sure why exactly just don't. I've seen the occasional few that I think are attractive but they are usually on an arm.
That's just my opinion. It shouldn't count for much.

I'm not a guy but this is just a quote and my not actually be true, so men PLEASE don't get offended, it was just from a movie. " a lower back tattoo, might as well be a bullseye" -wedding crashers. Like I said I honestly don't think men think like this but I just saw the movie and you're question reminded me of it :o)

She is definitely not UNIQUE. Can you imagine what that will look like when she's 80 and all wrinkly?
Some where, some time there will be a 75 year old grandma named BRITTANY or TIFFANY with a tattoo on her neck!

I dont know why anyone would get a tatto never mind a girl and on her lower back!
But then again what do I know
So after much thought and consideration I wouldnt think anything except that I wouldnt get one!
The girl she can tatto her whole body and it truly has no impact on me, my life or really on who or what she is.

Just don't do it. It seems cool now and certainly part of the 20somethings uniform and right of passage. It is definately not an expression of individuality because everybody is doing it.
It just looks horrible.
