just for general knowledge

Just go to google search & look out for Constitution of India, Hindu Marriage Act, Rent Control Act, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Indian Contract Act & Immovable Properties Act read these they will be sufficient for general knowledge in basic law.

Law Book Sellers are found in every metropolitan city with the law books of different publishers. Those books contain the text, commentary and case laws (judgements delivered by Supreme/High Courts). Specific addresses can be given to get named books. Initially the Constitution of India, Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Hindu Acts are sufficient.
