Although God is perfect, I have never heard God called the 'perfect' creator. However, He is. The fact that Adam & Eve sinned does not alter God's nature; their sin only altered ours. Because they chose to disobey God, we suffer illnesses, sins & death. God gave us free will; what we chose to do as a result of it will determine where we spend eternity.
I'm a Catholic but I suspect any Christian would answer you the same.

God still remains perfect, even though we are imperfect. We became imperfect through sin, seperating ourselves with Perfection. But we can rejoin ourselves to perfection through the body and blook of Christ. That's how we, "become perfect like your heavenly Father is perfect."

the 1st ones, the only real Christians, the Gnostic's believed there have been 2 gods merely because of the fact the bible shows. there is the lord, who's jealous and vengeful. And God, who's loving and forgiving. those are opposites. They believed that the backyard of Eden replaced right into a coming of age tale merely like various cultures have. The backyard is our formative years abode and the lord replaced into our dad who replaced into long gone all day working and can show up with food like manna from heaven. that's why it says we can't return to the paradise in view that's our formative years. the real meaning of ingesting the fruit of the "Tree of expertise of excellent and evil" is as quickly as we learn perfect from incorrect. Which we are meant to DO. it rather is the fake prophets, beginning with Saul, alias Paul the fake apostle, who reversed the meaning of "unique sin" from lack of information (which we are all rather born with) and created the doctrine of lies all of us recognize on the instant.wacwrestrv

God didn't copy man in His image. He made us near to His image, but still imperfect. So, to answer your question, that still makes him God.
