Don't write to your congressman, as some have suggested. Congress passes federal laws, and you are interested in a state law.

You can write to both your State Senator and your State Assemblymember. (They do appreciate it if you know the names of the legislative bodies in California.)

Here is where to find out who they are:

Well if this was a democracy I would tell you to contact your congressmen, but since we are in a plutocracy you have to include a 4,000 dollar money order along with your letter. I'm sorry but the low and middle class members are worthless without numbers, if you send in that letter it will be stacked up with hundreds of others trust me I volunteered in a political campaign. But lets say you get a large number of people together (500+) then you might have a chance. Maybe your rich just include that 4,000 dollars, try to get into those exclusive dinner parties, as I mentioned above.

Government for the people run by the people...

Now its Government for the wealthy run by the wealthy. If it was not then I ask you to run for President, lol wait you probably don't have the millions to spend OK just try running for mayor... oho wait still hindered of thousands try as low as a local official you still have to be in an above average financial situation!

Another 200 years and we will need another revolution this time to free us from the conglomerates.

FYI: CA corporations pay an annual tax of $800. How much do you pay? My father has to slave 10 hours a day and pays 3,000 dollars worth of property tax a year while these multi million/billion dollar corporations get away with $800!

FYI: when public officals say "tax cuts" make sure you investigate further and understand where the cuts are being made, what social programs are affected, who is benefiting, and of course why? How many times has president bush called for tax cuts and yet my parents and myself pay the same amount even more at times, since he has been in office.

Both your state Senator & Delegate would be the appropriate recipients of your letter , as both have the legislative opportunity to pass laws affwxting drivers in your state.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to cc the Governor a copy as well!!

Good Luck!

File a letter requesting for a law to be passed on the office of the Congressman where you lived in California so that your proposal will be acted upon.

Start with the governor plus your state senator and representative.
