Nothing- I really don't care about it- I see no reason to be moved against it.

I believe in gays doing whatever they want but not marriage.. Marriage is taking it too far.. Give them the tax breaks they are seeking and all the advantages of marriages just keep the word marriage sacred between man and woman.. Heck make up another name for this.. call it linked together or what ever you want just don't slap the face of the already established meaning of marriage.

I must comment on Max Power who said that "it means the desicration of the word marriage, the desicration of all that have ever partaken in the sacrement"
Forget that noise, CELEBRITIES have already desicrated the word more than Gays ever could. What with their 15 minute marriages, and the fact that they only marry for image.
You people need to realize that NOT ALL heterosexuals honor the "sanctity of marriage" so you need to shut up with that "marriage is sacred" BS.

A union between people of the same sex. people cant help who they are attracted too like i cant help i love men and im a woman by the way. and people who love someone of the same sex tend to want all the possessions to go to there lover. i feel if someone loves a person in that way why not let them have the same rights as heterosexuals. some people may disagree with it but nobody will understand until they have been in the other persons shoes.

It's a joke to me. I think more and more that gay people
just want to push peoples buttons. This crap about being
born that way is only in your head. It's all about sex.
People who think about being with the same sex are not
normal. They do it, and get some kind of strange pleasure,
and than expect everyone else to agree with it. I don't, I
never will and I think it's not about judging a person, I just
beleive that it is a sickness. To many people have taken
sexual fantacies to the limit and beyond, and that's part of
why we have so many freaks out there. People killing just
for the pleasure of sexual fulfillment.

It means Gay people can get married. Hopefully it also means they will be treated the same as any other legally married couple.

That upon the very possible demise of the relationship, I would loose 1/2 of my net worth. No thanks, I will leave that misery to my straight brothers...and wish them all the luck in the world, In a day when 3/4 of all marriages ends in divorce, why in the world would I want to delve into that quagmire????

It means that two consenting adults in a loving, comitted relationship have the opportunity to publicly declare their comitment to each other in front of friends and family, and to have their relationship sanctioned and respected by the government, so that they have the same protections, rights and responsibilities for their relationship as any other couple.

It means nothing in the eyes of God, therefore we should treat it as such. But if that's what they want to do, then who am I to tell them no.
