Do you think that exposing women in a bad way, like dressing in skimpy clothing and not being as important as men character (diamsel in distress), in videogames is wrong. I don't think so, I mean it's just a game. So what if most men have their opinions on women in a bad way based on games. It's just they way it is. Plus I don't see it as often. Even if most men are that way, I just forget about them and move on the next interested guy. Plus, I think it's hypocritical that women can't be expose in a bad way, but men can be.

I want to read what's on your mind, I won't report you no matter how offensive the answer is because I want to hear every type of opinion so I know how many people think that way, in estimate.

This reminds me of a time, when I was still in college about a year and a half ago, when a few students were hypnotized for a demonstration for some students. Well, as the session proceeded on, the hypnotist did something that most of the kids found quite funny. She made the guys that were hypnotized begin to make out, and "hump" mops as though they were the most beautiful women they had ever met. Now, this was all fine and dandy, except for when it came the girls turn to perform the same acts. This caused a huge problem, and the show was shut down, because they didn't want to expose the girls to this. Now tell me, how is if fair, that the men were embarrassed in front of the whole college, which is about 1500 people, but the women, who wish for all these equal rights, were not. One of the men that were hypnotized, was my friend. This embarrassment, made him want to leave school. He was ridiculed for it, and that's not right. So yeah, I agree with you when you say that it's hypocritical for men to be exposed in embarrassing/bad ways, but not OK for women to be. I think that the women in games aren't really all that bad, compared to some women I see on the streets, like hookers and all that. So yeah, I agree with you completely, it's unfair.

My answer is the same way I feel about violence in video games. It doesn't have any influence on real life. So, if a guy treats a girl poorly because of what he's seen in video games or goes on a school shooting because of what he's seen in video games, it is all his own fault. The player would only be influenced by this if he is already a little messed up in the head.

Exposing women in video games is perfectly fine. If a little kid gets his hands on a game and sees things about a woman he shouldn't know at his age, it is the parents' fault. The ESRB puts ratings on game boxes for a reason. A 5-year-old playing Grand Theft Auto, where you can pick up hookers, is just bad parenting. The developers of the game are not at fault.

I agree with your statement about it being hypocritical. Watch anything on the Lifetime channel, and you'll see a guy beating and raping a woman, as if all men are wife beaters and mindelss, sex-addicted pigs. This is not true. Same goes for exposed women in games. Not all women dress skimpy and throw their bodies at men like it's nothing at all. It's just a balance in the media between the sexes.

Well, for one, it's better advertising because most gamers are boys. But as far as how women are being portrayed:
I think that when women are dressed a certain way it sets an image of what should be expected; subconsciously. If a real girl does not meet that expectation, they are thought less of. The same could be said for boys but 1) as I mentioned, more gamers are boys that girls and 2) studies show that girls are much more heavily critiqued than boys

Hope that helps. =)

To me it doesn't matter, because in a video game you got only two different types of characters good guys and bad guys, Good guys go out and kill the bad guys simple as that.

well, you know men are completely opossite from women, haha every man im sure has perverted desires, and women mature faster then men, plus we have dirty'r habits, so i think women should understand its just the nature of men to like exposed women, having things like that in games is just a way of making money, like pornography, its all money

Look at Resident evil 4 the girl is so helpless and I almost trashed the game because of it. But then I get to a point where the girl gets separated from the guy. She kicked some serious zombie @$$. (She threw lamps at them and lit them on fire.
