I just got my nose pierced three days ago and the ring I have in there now is the hook style. When the hook tilts down inside my nose, it is visible just inside my nostril and it drives me crazy. I keep having to push the long end of the hook back up into my nose so that nobody has to look at me and see that wire sticking out. Is this a common problem with these new piercings?

I don't want to take it out because it is so new and it always takes a while for my body to get used to these things anyways. So other than just putting in a different style ring, what can I do?

Even though it's not 100% healed, could I go back to the piercer and have them put in a different style?

I had that happen to me, you have to try and twist it back up into the inside of your nostril. After the you have had it in long enough to change it, get a different style ring.

I know what you are talking about... the hook is like in a L shape..?? It is to long for your nose, try the screw. They are a bit difficult to put in and take out when you first get the piercing, but after you've had it for a few months... it becomes easier.
