How do I clean pewter.?

Wash with soap and water, and wipe dry, then use a mixture of baking soda and water to a paste and rub with a cloth. Or, you can buy silver paste polish. which will remove the black tarnish. I preferred the baking soda, as it is not acidic. Best wishes

Have heard toothpaste will, just don't use your brush. (-:
