I'm a foreign guy and interested to english. Sometimes some expressions just confuse me, I could not find a satisfacted answer from dictionary. Would anyone help me?Here is a question, I notic a lot use of this phrase "Work out" in different situations,what is the exactly means there?

work out can mean:

to exercise (I work out by lifting weights)

to resolve (The arguing man and wife have to work out their problems or they'll end up getting a divorce)

In the context of any problem solving work out means to resolve
In the context of ur physical fitness it means to exercise

we can say work out means to continuously doing

work out loosely means 'exercise your body', particularly in a gym. it may also mean 'figure out' like in the phrase 'work out what that means'.
