I have the same problem! My insomnia has been going strong for about two weeks. I've tried so many things... I would hop in bed at nine o'clock at night, and literally lie there for hours until I fell asleep. Once asleep, I would wake up several times throughout the rest of the night; by the time morning arrives I am a zombie, and have even overslept! It sometimes helps if you exercise mid-afternoon or so. I finally slept well last night though. I picked up this Hershey's Goodnight cocoa in the store (in the tea section), and it helped! It made me tired enough to sleep sound. It's only about $1.35 a box-- very inexpensive! I hope you have better luck resting tonight. ;]

I frequently have a really hard time falling asleep, even when I'm exhausted. My advice would be that when nothing works, don't just lie there, do something so that you are using energy. I usually go online when I can't sleep. I found this website one night, and it seemed to help. I'm not sure if it will for you or not, some days it does, some it doesn't. It's worth a try though, definitely.

I take a 1mg Melatonin tablet every night. It used to take me 1 to 2 hours to go to sleep, but since I started taking Melatonin, I am asleep within 1/2 an hour. It only costs about $3-$5.00, so it is well worth the price for a few extra zzz's. Here is a link with information if you want to research it further. Good Luck!

I have this problem sometimes! Best way to do this is buy some sleeping pills and use them for a few days to make you go to sleep at about 10 pm. Then stop taking the sleep pills and your body should be back in the routine of falling asleep. It works for me without fail. I have to do this about 4-5 times a year to get myself back in a sleeping routine
