I almost died of septic shock December 13th. I woke up in ICU and my entire family was their which I was gratefull. Upon my release from the hospital none of my sisters called and offered to help me and my 17 year old daughter. I was cut from my heart to my belly button and couldn't even bathe myself. then thursday a man tried to car jack me. I got beat up pretty bad, told my mom, and she told my sisters, they haven't even called to see if I am ok. I feel so bratty for being mad at them. If this had happened to one of them I would of called and offered to help them with shopping, bathing, whatever they needed. Am I wrong?

Shyler no I don't think that you are being a brat, you have family to help, but maybe they have other obligations to take care of.It just depends how close you guys are.Could you have went to one of there homes? Personally I would have been upset too.I think you should talk to them about how you feel. Find peace in forgiveness.Bless you, and take care.

No, it doesn't sound like you're being a brat to me. If it were me, I'd call my mom and tell her how I was feeling. She might offer some insight as to why they are not being supportive. She also might contact them and let them know that you need some support right now. They are the ones being bratty!!!

no your not wrong they are. they should have at least called you to see if you were ok. what you should do is call them and confront them. let them know how you feel and how much it hurt you. hope you get better.
