It has a 3.8 liter engine. 2 door. I don't know 2 much about this car. The transmission went out and I'm trying to find out what kind it needs.

you have either one of two trannies
THM250C 11 bolts on pan
THM200C 14 bolts on pan
you'll have to look at the trans pan to identify which one you have

I replaced one of these transmissions in a 1985 Buick Regal in 1999.It has a 4speed automatic ,3 speed without the Overdrive.You must see if your car has Overdrive.It will have a circle around the letter D in the trans indicator.These were usually the Metric Trans.These trannys were also found in numerous GM makes and models.You can go to your local Junkyard and they have what is called a 'Crossover Manual' either by book or on a Computer.Th4ey can give you a printout of all makes and models with the same transmission.

Probably be better off to rebuid one you got but you could go to junkyard and take your chances......its the same transmission that hooks up to V-8s only difference is bell housing and tourge converter 83-89 models interchange
