Game 6 of the 1986 World Series. Ahh... to actually witness the ball roll past Buckner... probably the greatest World Series game ever played.

The 1998 Daytona 500. Quite possibly the proudest moment in NASCAR history. The icon of the sport finally capturing his first win of the biggest race and most iconic race of any season. After 20 years of trying and finding every which way to come up short of winning the event. Everything from running out of gas to blowing a tire in the final lap while leading to being wrecked and even hitting a seagull punching a hole in his radiator. He finally did it. Upon coming around to victory lane EVERY crew member of EVERY team and even NASCAR officials and track firefighters lined up to shake his hand along pit road. That was a moment that touched almost everyone who was watching at the track or on TV. Something I dont think many people caught on to was something that happened in his post race interview. One of his pit crew members was absent for most of the race while the guys wife was having a baby appeard and shook Dales hand and congratulated him on the win Dale looked at him and congratulated him on having his first born. Thts was something that touched me and showed that the "bad guy" image everyone viewed him as was more actually his game face over anything and that he was/is one of the nicest guys that sport ever had.
