Is it normal to have a clear like mucus discharge at 30 weeks of pregnancy? what does it mean?

I only had it when i wiped everytime i went to the bathroom on saturday night. what could it be? my doctor said it was normal, but could it mean that i could be going into labor soon?

yes its very normal. im pretty sure its not your mucous plug especially @ 30 weeks causse that would look more like snot and sometimes have a ting or red in it.... some ladies only get discharge towards the end of your pregnancy some have it all throughout,. guess it depends how lucky you are.. its your hormones in the beginning and now its most liekly your leuikoria. i think i definitly spelt that wrong. but if you have that book what to expect when expecting... it will tell you everything in there!

It could be your mucous plug being dislodged from your cervix. It only means your cervix is starting to change, but doesn't necessarily mean you are starting labor. Your body can regenerate a new mucous plug, so labor is not automatic after you have discharge. I've had the same thing happen, and I didn't go into labor for at least two months after it happened. As long as you've seen your doctor and talked about it and been examined, then I would believe your doctor. Good luck!

my doctor told me it was hormones. i used to get this white stuff that came out and that was his answer. btw if you are wondering your mucous plug looks like snot and sometimes itll have a tinge of blood with it. I had that stuff all throughout my pregnancy and i delivered on my due date. good luck

sounds like your moucus plug, yup very normal and no doesnt mean labor is immenent. i lost my plug at 34 weeks and had the baby at 37 and that was only becuase the dr induced me.
