he's very bored & annoyed with everything & i dont know if he's annoyed with me too for some reason. dont know if i should stay away or be a good friend & try & make him feel better. help!

Dont stoppin to be friends with him. Just tell him how you feel abut hos annoyed he is or tryin to be nice to talk abt how you feel abt this. He might changed himself and tryin to do his best. friends needed/wanted friends. If you left him, he will be hurting and feel something what he done wrong. I didnt think it is good idea cuz he didnt do anything wrong to you. Just that he get you annoyed. Just tell him how you feel. Dont be afraid. Im sure he will understand. You can still be his friend.

Agreed; just give him some time and if he is a good friend he will initiate the conversation. Sometimes it's good to have space as long as its only a short time.
Dont loose your real friends they are very hard to come-by; acquaintances will come and go but friends are for life!

Let him be for a few days. He needs to sort his life out by himself.
If he contacts you first after awhile, then be your normal self and ask him what happened.
If he remains silent, then let it rest at that.
