Yes. They were on TBS, usually between movies or shows later at night. They were called "TBS' Monkey-ed Movies" Go to you tube, type monkey movies, and youll find a ton of those old monkey movies. Heres starter for ya!

i can remember a movie channel years ago it was called Show Time. in between breaks they had some monkeys dressed up like humans and acted like humans using human voices.
i don,t know how old you are but i think this was in the 70,s or 80,s when they did this little skit.

I don't remember a whole show where they acted out movies. But do remember TBS had a little skit where they partially acted out skits of movies. I do remember one where monkey's played being spies. And I don't remember the name of it.

It might have been Planet of the Apes....they did have tv series but not sure if it was on USA....
