You know, I wonder why God chooses to bless some with the miracle of pregnancy and birth and life just to have them throw it back in His face? How could you even think something so selfish? First of all, the fetus receives it's nutrients through the umbilical cord, and even if you starve yourself, that baby will still survive. I hope and pray you come to your senses. Would you want someone to starve you to death? That fetus is a living, breathing human being. Just something to think about.

You have no choice in feeding the fetus. The fetus feeds off the mother and if the mother is not eating then it feeds off the mother's body.
If a person starves themself and refuses to eat the body will begin to devour itself by breaking down muscle to survive.
If a mother starves herself to death before the baby is born, yes the baby will die, because the mother stopped the supply of blood which feeds the baby. Depends on how determine the mother is to die herself.
In the first weeks the fetus will survive even if the mother is not eating. Some women throw up the entire time they are pregnant. If they can not keep anything down you would think the baby would not survive for lack of the mother eating. Yet, many healthy babies are born with mothers that had morning sickness the entire time. Taking vitamins helps the baby get all the nutrients it will need to be healthy.

No, that fetus gets nutrients from the placenta and umbilical cord. Even if you don't get the nutrients the baby gets what it needs from you. You are more likely to starve to death than hurt the fetus. You really need to talk to someone to tell you your options. They will help you decide what is the best method. Never do those things yourself.

Do you know a way to tell your body to do that? No, you'd have to starve yourself to a critical condition first. Your body will give your fetus what it needs WAY before it will keep anything for you. For example, your body will turn your bones into rubber bands by taking calcium out of your bones for the baby if you don't have enough in your diet.
If you want to end a pregnancy, you pretty much have to have an abortion.

Well starving the mother to death will also kill the fetus.
