Learn basic French, it will be very handy and the French people will treat you nicer.
Get a EUROpass (train, bus) - convenient and practical to go around Paris.
Get yourself a tourist map at the airport include the train map.
Avoid the left side when you ride the escalators. People on a rush take that side. (I almost topple over!-whew!)
Wear you most comfortable rubber shoes...if you want to see all of the must sees....you'll be running from one train to the other to see all of them.
Take a Seine River Cruise and a glimpse of the major sights of Paris. (around 13 eur, there's one very near across the Eiffel tower).
Go very early if you want to go up the Eiffel or see the Lourve. There's already a long line at 7:30 a.m. It gets unruly with lots of people from different races and cultures.
Be wary of people who wants to take your picture. But, there are lots of tourist all around just like you who are friendly to give you a hand and take a shot for you.
Still have the energy? Stroll Champs Élysée from the Lourve towards Arc de Triomphe, it is a long walk from the Louvre but this is a best way to see others sights as well. You get to pass the fountain with these goddesses and nymphs (forgot the name), Jardin des Tuileries, the famous brand lines of european fashion and trends, Parisian Cafés and corners selling trinkets.

If u dont have much time to explore London, take the "Big Bus Tour", they have stops all around london streets, especially close to Oxford Street. They provide tours around london's most famous spots on the double deck buses, wer u can get off & on again at designated stops.Gives u the freedom to roam around by foot also to see historical sites. They also include a boatride along the Thames River.Dont forget to hop onto "London-eye" to get a full view of London itself. And shoppin in Oxford Street is a must!Catch a broadway show if u have time.As for Paris, must see's are The Louvre Museum ( u can buy a 3day pass for the museum ) as its rather big.The famous Eiffel Tower , Arc de Triumph , Notre Dame etc.Google em up before u go.The metro in Paris also has a 10way ticket, its a lil cheaper than buyin individual tickets everytime. If u can make it, u shud try to go grab a show at the Moulin Rouge.Have fun !

Well its good your going in the spring! Europe in general is very busy and touristy during the summer so I hope you beat the crowds! Well I have been to Paris, but never to England sorry! When you go to Paris, a couple tips:
1.Make sure to bring a raincoat (just to tell you it pours when it rains)
2.I used Public transportation when we wen around Paris (the metro) and we were sure happy! People think that the Eiffel tower is close by foot, well no its not at all actually!
3.If you plan to go to La Tour Eiffeil, make sure you go early or before the afternoon rush, It takes hours to get up to the top if you come late!
4. Visit the Louvre!!!!
5. Make sure your hotel is in an ideal location, to a cafe, to a museum, to the metro, ect.
And check out Rick Steeves. We use his books everytime we go to visit the rest of our family there! He gives very good advice, unless ur going by Tour Bus...

That will help a bunch!
