You betcha...the good old days!
A lot is left to the imagination. Back then TV had a lot of rules.
Family TV
A couple not in the same bed.
Then after some years, if a couple was in the same bed, one had to have their foot out and on the floor.
As you notice, no swearing or talk of sex.
Now, we wonder why today's kids have all these ideas so young. TV teaches them things before they even know what life is about. I wish they could see life as school and play.
cute question and a very important moral goes along with it : )

I wondered th same thing, especially from watching Rob and Laura on Dick Van Dike (sp) show until I read somewhere that it was not appropriate for TV. The first TV couple to share a bed was the Flintstones. Ironic

LOL!
Good point, but in those days the idea of seeing to people in the same bed was taboo. It musta been too shockingly immoral. I guess once the lights go out someone visits the other ones bed for some TLC.

This teach become in the 1950's and returned then they'd not teach couples snoozing in a similar mattress. they only theory it become no longer meant to be shown on television, surprisingly with this being a type of kinfolk teach.

LOL.
Seriously the religious bigots who made the McCarthy rules about T.V., which is why beds had to be single and seperated probably thought she could have immaculate conception.
One of the rules was that if an actor sat on a bed they had to have ONE FOOT on the floor.
When I was young we used have a lovely time trying to find positions to have sex - that let one have one foot on the floor. It can be done; so we wondered what the people who made this rule were thinking

if one's on top of the other there's no need for a bigger bed. of course that was only for tv. they werent allowed to make any real sex references that is until match game came along.

They showered together. From the size of that apartment, there hadn't had to be that much room in the bathroom.
