you can only know that till he gets his greencard, cuz that is when you will notice if his feelings towards you have changed or not. Give it some more time if you have doubts abt this relationship. You don't want to have ne regrets in future

Why not tell him that you will consider going to the next level in your relationship once he is legal and it doesn't depend on you or marriage.
Tell him you care too much about your future children to leave things like that to changing circumstances.
You may have been through so much together but that wouldn't change the general background of this situation.
It's pretty bad to be abandoned, worse when then person can just go back to Brazil if he feels like it!

Instead of trying to read his mind, I'd suggest you turn the question on yourself. Presumably he could be deported at any time, so your relationship has always been on shaky ground. Is there something attractive about this uncertainty, like it protects you from having to make a real commitment? Or is it attractive that you have more power and probably more opportunities?

Your continuing distrust suggests to me that you're using him for an experiment or a fling, and instead of admitting your own ambivalence you're projecting it onto him.

He's using you-what's in it for you sister?

I know two girls who did what you are doing and got totally used to the max-be careful. I hope you are not helping him pay his bills. Are you?

Ok, if you dont want to be all comfused and stuff, trust him now or dont trust him at all. Do this, and get things solved fast.

he's probably not using you. I hate to say this but women come a nickel a dozen.

Go with your gut feeling. Take your time and don't rush into anything.
