Masterpiece?? I really don't think any one of their songs were masterpieces... but they did quite a few great songs. I lived in the era and to be honest they really weren't that talented as the Beatles..As a group they very popular because they were the first to wear long hair ( for the days standards), there songs were very different to what we were used to hearing, and were very much individualists which showed as they broke up and went on their own. All the talent came out as they went off on their own ventures.. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and even Ringo Star for a short time. As a group they were good, don't get me wrong, just never did anything of masterpiece quality.
I will give the word "classic" to each and every one of their songs though..

Definitely "Here Comes The Sun". This song was way ahead of it's time. It was very well written and produced.

Almost all of their earlier ones, and very few of the later ones.
I like "It Don't Come Easy" though I'm not sure if it qualifies as a Beatles song.

the abbey road medley...they took several songs and pieced them together. The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.

my dad was a huge fan, and i had just got "abbey road" when my dad died (which was in 1998)..and that song reminds me of him...but not in a bad way! it always makes me smile!

What one isn't? I still like Blackbird and we named my former band that name. Also, In My Life speaks to me. They are all masterpieces. Don't make me choose, please!
