I idiotically put my cotton pants in the washer. I do not need to lose weight! But they shrunk so that I can't button them anymore. I only wore them once and I love them. Please help. I will try anything to unshrink them. Thanks!

this is going to sound crazy... but, i read on a levi's website that basically you get your jeans wet in like a luke warm water...Grab a towel to soak all the water off of them. Then you wear them around, they should stretch out without reducing the quality since cotton its stronger when it is wet. You wear them around til they are dry and they should fit you again...just from everyday movement. Just steer clear of the sofa for a while. LOL good luck

I honestly don't know, I would like to know for myself. But when I wash a pair of jeans that shrink a little too small, I just put them on a do a bunch of squats to kind of loosen them up a little bit, it doesn't magically unshrink them, but it makes it a little more wearable.

You can borrow my time machine or cotton deshrinker. Both are in my basement next to the ufo that crashed in my backyard.

Dampen them and then stretch them while they are still damp, trying to keep them in shape until they dry.
