Let's see: I don't cheat on my wife. I don't molest little boys. I don't embezzle money, take bribes, do drugs, drive drunk, or make a living from lying. No wonder they only work 90 days out of the year!! There's no comparison.

We all have stresses in our lives. The politicians who ran for office took on that responsibility when they wished to be elected. I take on the responsibilities I have chosen and those that have been thrust on me, and they count very much. My stressors? Most of them are too personal to share on YA. The stressors that politicians endure are not ones I would welcome. I am happy to vote for someone who has the constitution to fight those battles in Washington. I'm sure some of my stressors would not be welcomed by them by any means. Paying my bills can be relaxing compared to some of the daily challenges I deal with, and I'm sure it's the same for millions of others. I don't think you're going to have much luck eliciting sympathy for the stress politicians go through - they choose their jobs, just like we do. Though I for one am grateful someone is willing to do what they do, that's for sure.
