I was just wondering, cuz I have a lot of straight friends that have no idea I was molested and dealt with homosexuality! I have no idea how to ever tell them about it, or do they already know? If you had a buddy who was somewhat gayish, would you have suspected?

And what would be the first thing that you would notice in your friend that would make you think they might be gay?

None of my best friends are gay but I do know a few gay people. They are open about it though, when I ran into one of them at the movies he introduced me to his boyfriend, so its not hard to tell them apart. There were some kids we suspected in high school to be gay, coincidentally I've heard of a couple of them coming out as of recent. It's kind of hard to explain exactly what it is that made them stick out as being gay. But we could always tell. This one big black dude in our class talked in a gay accent since 6th grade, it was no surprise when he came out, but he was and always has been a flamer. If you don't have the accent they use or dress like your gay or bleach and fix your hair a lot than you might slide under your friend's gaytector. I as a hetero have usual been able to pick up on who's gay and who's straight. I can't speak for your friends. The only way you'll know for sure is to tell the truth. and if your friends don't like you b/c your gay then you either need new friends or you need to let the ones you already have adjust to it. If they don't know yet then they may be quite surprised when you spring that one on them.

I would notice they way they dress the way they talk the way they have conversation with other people. Then again some people are good on hiding there sexuality whatever status Hmmmmmm what does being molested have to do with being gay? O yeah molested people have a funny accent and are tall. This question makes absolutly no sense on that part and I guess you suppose Im the king of england because Im writing a nice imformative long response?
I need a vacation.

Hehe, the "Gaydar" question. The fact is that everyone is guessing! Unless a person is making it obvious, no one can be sure. My older brother is gay but you'd only have a 1- in- 10 chance of picking him as the gay one in a ten- man lineup! If that wasn't enough, he used to have a "friend" years ago who looked like a real mean dude. He was tall and heavy- set but solid with a full beard and mustache. He was a truck driver and wore a ball cap most of the time. NOTHING about his dress, his speech, or his mannerisms came even close to indicating that he was gay. In fact, I had known of him for years before my brother told me he was! I have known a few guys that I would have sworn were gay (soft- spoken, limp- wristed movements, girlish laugh) but ended up marrying GORGEOUS girls! It's a crap shoot. I'd be inclined to agree that more exposure to gays increases your chance of picking one out of a crowd better but is not contingent on whether you are gay or straight yourself.

Your question especially lots solutions itself. If he acts "gay," (or mannerisms attributed to male homosexuals) yet you realize him to be immediately, i.e. has sexual family in straight forward terms with women, then he's a immediately guy. Or your words, a "gay immediately guy." If he acts "immediately" (or without mannerisms attributed to male homosexuals), yet you realize him to in straight forward terms have sexual family with different men, then he's gay. Or on your words, a "immediately gay guy." The question I somewhat have is what's the element of your question? If a guy is gay or immediately, he can act besides he chooses. Does he might desire to behave in a stereotypical way attributed to his sexual id?

Straight guys don't have a clue about who is gay and who isn't, unless it's obvious to the masses. Gaydar doesn't exist amongst the male heterosexual population and that is a very good thing in my opinion, for all parties concerned.

I don't think most guys think about it one way or the other, unless some guy is just blatantly gay. I notice some guys who seem sort of feminine but I don't really know or care what their preference is as long as it doesn't involve me.

Not for nothing...I just assume everyone is gay, cause well you never know anymore these days...Now, some people...I'm kinda unsure about, some I know for sure, and the rest I know pass the test the very second I meet them.

It's the Gays that have the gay-dar... not the Straights...
Straight guys are too busy displaying all that fake machismo, picking on some perceived gay person, and avoiding the whole gay thing because they've had some gay thoughts.

I have heard some say they know but it's hard to tell unless you have feminine tendencies.
