ok here is my story. stopped taking pill 8th Jan 07, then got a proper one week period. started on 12th jan 07 finished on 19th Jan 07. then 34 days later i started spotting round bout 15th Feb, thought i might of been preg but tests (doctors) came back neg. then 12 march (25 days since spotting) got faint period like cramps, if its them they are early. i had unprotected sex on 8th mar, 10th, and 11th. not sure when my period is due as they have gone wacko since stopping pill. woke up this morning 13th mar had a huge amount of clear mucus and it had a faint brown tinge almost clear. and have faint cramps today sometimes its to one side for a couple of minutes but mostly in the middle like a period cramp. today is still the 13th mar and i have gone to the toilet several times today and there is now nothing there, no mucus, no blood nothing, but still the faint cramps. is this my periods starting early or possible preg?? any advice greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the clear mucus could simply be discharge. If you were trying to get pregnant, then you might be in luck. Sperm thrive only in the right conditions and discharge that is clear and stretchy is one of the signs of ovulation. Well the tricky thing about cramps is that you have them before or during your period, and a lot of the cases in early symptoms of pregnancy. A couple of days before I get my period, sometimes 3-8 days before my period, I get a clear discharge/mucus, and faint cramps, and usually about a week later I get my actual period. So you might get your period in a couple of days. Honestly the best way to figure out if you're pregnant, is wait it out and go get checked, if you don't want to get pregnant, you still have some time, little time, to go get the Plan B pill, I don't know how effective it will be since a couple of days have passed since you had unprotected sex.

I'm not sure if im gonna help you. My friend is doing the same thing. She was freakin out about preg or gonn ahave period. If you are too stressful over the preg, your period will delay and longer. If it hasnt been a while for 1 or 2 weeks pass, it is possible preg. If you are calm down, it is possible to have a period early.. maybe it is better if you have to take preg test or go to see the doctor.

have you ever had unprotected sex earlier than 8th of jan? or later that 21st of january? if yes, you are probably pregnant...coz people who stopped takin pills has a higher percentage of getting pregnant than the ones not taking it...
or...
if you are irregular, it could be your period too...but if not, better visit your doctor, coz it could be somethin else ...cramping doesnt only mean pregnancy and period....cramping is one of the symptoms of some infections too...

the best thing to do right now is just go to the doctor. but it sounds like a posible preg.
