I've been eating them like crazy lately. It's all I want to eat. Is it ok or is it bad to eat them. I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and so far no problems. What do you think or know?

It should be safe . . .though some types of crab are not. Just make sure it is always thoroughly cooked.

This site has a chart you can use to compare different foods to see if they are safe or not:

Bizarrely, even though I posted a source and found several others to back up what I said, I still get a negative. I think that's kinda funny. Anyway, to CLARIFY . . .MOST kinds are ok! Especially if they are well-cooked. And the link will show you the few kinds that aren't, which are from specific bodies of water, and even then, they're ok in moderation. Sorry to try to help!

Yes, crab legs are fine. I craved the for a while, too... even made a late night stop at the grocery store to get steamed crab legs one night. You are just supposed to cut out sushi and watch your intake of certain fish that contain high amounts of mercury.
I don't know why someone gave me a negative...
