iranians have a rich history moreso than many of countries who are ran by arabs so
why dont middle easterns who are not ethnically arab correct the media for calling them arabs especially iranians?
im not generalizing im just asking my female friend is an american(black) mixed with iranian(persian) and though she have never been around her father her mother try to label her half arab or wanted her to go to arabworld festival in our city to touch her fathers roots but if iranians aren't arabs why dont they dispute it esp when the media calls them that?

To this day, every persian that I have met, call themselves Persians NOT arabs. A lot of them do not even like Arabs!

Oh, many do, some Persians HATE Arabs....
And not all Iranians are Persian, some actually are arab, esp by the Iraqi border..

persian people are not arabs, they are iranian...persia has once ruled most of the world, they have the most interesting history, that have nothing to do with other middle eastern countries history. your friend should explore the persian culture...and the media generalize all middle eastern countries because it thinks the amerian people are too dumb to differenciate those countries..british television doesnt do that.

yeah, they have a rich history..so do every country in the world..what has that got to do with anything?
these countries are so screwed up now that for the next hundred years there children and their children's children are all going to be basket cases...
just call a Arab an Arab and a spade a spade..no pun intended..but if you just call people people would not that be more simpler as to what and how these people are related or not related???
are not we all just people? why not just let us all be humans first last and always..or is that to simple?
