It looks like a chrysanthemum to me but it's hard to tell. It needs more light to look normal because it normally grows outside in full sunlight. It needs the correct amount of sunlight in order to flower again. You might try putting it outside in a shaded area (at first) during mild weather. Don't put in direct sunlight at first or it's leaves will become sunburned and it might die. After it becomes conditioned to stronger light you can put it in direct sunlight and it might flower for you again sometime. It will also become bushier, with more leaves.
It also needs more nutrients to grow well. Get a plant fertilizer for indoor plants such as the ones that you dissolve in water and follow the instructions on the box.
If you keep treating it well you should be able to keep it around for several more years!

I can tell a weed from a desirable plant about half the time so I won't be a lot of direct help but have you tried any of these places.

I bet the florist would know.

A good nursery with Master Gardner on staff might be able to help as well.

Some counties have agricultural departments.

I think it's Sunset magazine that publishes a gardeners guide. It is supposed cover plants like no other book. Try a brick and mortar Library in the reference department.

I sure hope one of those gets you an answer. If nothing else you will be busy for a while. Good Luck

I looks like a chrysanthemum. Keep it in a sunny location, well-watered, and expect to see flowers in the autumn.
