When she is comfortable enough in her own body she will ask for prettier panties. I still occasionally wear them during that certain time, just for comfort. If she wants to change underwear she'll tell you. Or if you want to know now just ask her, maybe when your out shopping or something just kind of mention you think those underwear are cute and ask what she thinks. If she likes them offer to buy her some pairs. If she says sure start making the change to other underwear.
