I believe if a person wishes to change their sexual orientation, then the same "tolerance" Gays are shouting for should be extended to those wishing to become exgay.

John Paulk was the spokesperson for the ex gay movement. He was so successful in the ex gay movement that he visited Mr. P's, a popular gay bar in Washington DC. Initially Paulk said he entered the bar at random to use the restroom despite being there for over an hour and buying alcoholic drinks for other patrons. Paulk later admitted that he had known it was a gay establishment before entering it.
Anyone can suppress one's feelings and live a lie, for a time, but it doesn't work in the long run. Besides, living a lie doesn't seem like much of a Christian ethic. 30% of gay teenagers attempt suicide when faced with this kind of guilt-instilling and self-loathing education.

thrilling concept. it is likewise an abomination against good judgment and robust previous shaped elementary experience. you notice, what you're implying is that hastily, a team of gay adult adult males regarded up and suggested, "hi! i do no longer decide directly to get AIDS, so i pass to have intercourse with a woman. whether or no longer she has AIDS herself is beside the point, because of the fact she would not have a schlong!" you recognize, i do no longer think of so. The "ex-gay" stream is the top resut of a team of looney toons that experience entitled to show - i.e., brainwash - us on the organic order of issues, with out having any pastime in any respect in understanding what that order is. (clever layout, anybody?) Sorry, yet this is an rather unique form of insanity propagated via a powerful want to proceed to be uneducated, and it will take extra desirable than that to push me lower back interior the closet.

You have an interesting interpretation of the meaning of "success."
It seems that by "success" you mean inducing mental trauma and forcing a change to behavior, while doing nothing at all about someone's natural, inborn, God-given sexual orientation, since that cannot be changed.
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
A scam full of lies, that has good spin doctors, is still a scam. Too bad it has to ruin lives in the process.

I have no idea what malarky you are reading, but the "ex gay movement" has been proven time and time again to be a sham and a scam...hogwash! "Great success????" 99% of the "ex gays" revert to acting the life that is normal for them...being gay and acting upon it. The other 1% lives in a state of denial. What a waste of life!

They gain strength until the leader gets caught with his pants down in a gay bar...literally. There is not a "great success", they just try to make it look that way.

LOL, they aren't any kind of a "great success". They use questionable methods, do not keep verifiable records, and are little more than snake-oil salesmen.

Great success? I would hardly define guilt tripping people back into the closet and making them loathe themselves as "great success."

It's crap. You can't change who you are, and who you're attracted to. You can lie to yourself all you want, but that's just going to hurt yourself more on down the line.
