keep same format name when download file?

When you download a file, you get an option to "run" or "save." If you choose to save, a name is suggested. You can keep that name or type a new one - or - you can download it as is, and rename it after it is downloaded.

As for the format, so far as I know, you will download it in the format with which it was written. If you have the program, you can edit it later.
