I'm a life-long fan of The Price is Right and I'm seriously considering requesting tickets and driving out there since he's retiring in June. I've always wanted to be in the audience.

I know that tickets don't guarantee you'll get in, and I know from reading other questions here about the show that I should arrive super early.

Since it's a long drive, I don't want to waste my time if I won't get in. How likely is it that I can get in now that he's winding down his last season? If anyone has gone lately any info would be helpful!

Thanks!

I'd recommend doing it NOW. Try to be as outrageous as possible without being crude, rude or nonplus. Wear bright clothing, be respectable.

That's all that I've ever seen from the show, not to mention it's THE best game show on TV!

Getting to see Bob Barker before he retires will definitely not be a waste of time whether or not you are chosen as a contestant!

With that said, my cousin from San Diego told me her friend got to be a contestant because she told the interviewer "I'm gonna win because I have big boobs" (which apparantly she did). I read another guy's story that he stood up in the crowd and screamed out "I'm gonna win a car on Price is Right!!!" in front of all the producers and they chose him too. So definitely having a "television" personality and sticking out in the crowd will help your chances. Also think about making your own t-shirt. Being creative is a plus but be sure not to use any logos. Good luck!
