My place of employment is very disorganized and chaotic. I have done my best to deal with it, but it is starting to really take it's toll on me mentally and that is leading to it taking a toll on me physically. I have tried talking to 2 of the partners, and nothing happens. They seem to understand the problems, but don't do anything to change the problems. I am not the only one who is discouraged and frustrated. I am tired of venting about it and realize that it's time to put a solution in place. Since nothing is going to change amongst the partners, I think it is best for me that I move on. I want to sit down with the senior partner and let him know that I may begin looking for another job and the reasons why, as no one has gone to him to let him know how low moral is around the offic.e I am scared of getting fired for going to him, but I feel like it should be done, like I need to be honest with him (he's truly a wonderful man). What is your opinion?

I do have a job interview and whether I get the job or not, I still feel like I need to talk to the senior partner to give him an opportunity to rectify the chaos. This is not about getting more money out of him or anything else, this is trying to make him understand that the practice is going down like the titanic and I want changes to happen to positively affect the office and all the employees.

Yes I would, It seems that you really like the jjob but is finding it harder to go to work because of the situation that is going on. and if you do, you will be leaving on good terms and you are giving them a chance to do something about it. maybe if you get a piece of paper stating everything is going on. and have all those co-workers that agree sign it. at least you will have some kind of proof. good luck.

Does the chaos come from the two owners different points of view? In that kind of enviroment there will never be organization until they find a business manager they are willing to delegate authority too. If you choose to move on I see no reason to leave bad blood. You can give your notice. Your reasons for leaving will not change them until they recognize the need for a positive change. I see no reason to rehash the problems.
Good people do sometimes make mistakes It is part of us and the owners are no different.
