I'm trying to play a DVD that's under copy protection on my Gateway directly from the disc but I'm running into problems. It'll play the movie but it's very jumpy/scratchy. Is there a way I can get my movies to play smoothly coming directly from the disc instead of decrypting the movie to my hard drive?

It's not that I want to decrypt the DVD, or save it to my hard drive. I want to be able to stick the DVD in and be able to watch it smoothly w/o any jumps in it. Can anyone help?

There's a company in St-Johns Antigua who makes a programme called ANYDVD this programme removes the copy protection wich is actually called "Macrovision" copanies like Warner and Sony are the worst they change their protection sometimes every week..but this company is ontop of it and as soon as a new copy protection comes out they release an update to take care of it.By getting this programme you also get the protection removed from some of the new music cd's that stop you from ripping them to mp3..they have also have a great programme the easiest one i have ever used to copy dvd's ..you can pick if you want to copy it to your hard drive or to a DvD disk..and you can also pick if you want just the movie or the movie and all the extra's including the menu.I tried and tried to find a cracked version of the programme ANYDVD but because they update it so often its almost impossible to find..so i ended up purchasing it..as for the programme to copy Dvd's it's called CloneDvD2 and if you have limewire or shareaza you can find it there with a crack but make sure you get version 2.8.5.1 and once you have installed and cracked make sure you never update it..you can find a 21day trial of both products at www.slysoft.com have fun and if you want i'll email you the registration code for the AnyDvd programme it cost me 40 bucks canadian but worth the money ..i have a collection of over 350 dvds now.

not really. i think u need a fast processor and a good cd-drive only then can u play movies with good picture quality. Try other players besides WMP cuz i encounter problems too with WMP when playing DVDs or just watching movies over the net.

there are techniques regardless of the undeniable fact that that's against the regulation! back interior the day human beings might use a black marker and mark a around line on the begining element of the disc to cover up the reproduction write element of the dvd and then drag and drop it to a folder and use an enhancing utility to repeat it
