I used to have a pet mouse. He had a little heart attack and I gave him mouth to mouth resuscitation. It worked. I couldn't believe that it worked, but it did and I was so proud! I was only about 10 years old at the time!

Don't bother. There really is a difference between rats and hamsters/ (How rude of you to think otherwise.) If it has been a good pet, break out a good shoebox and we will attend the services. If it was a poor pet/friend, grab a nakin and head for the trash can. (What kind of pet/friend will you get next? Stay tuned RAT fans to see how he gets out of this one-same rat time-same rat channel!!)

It's your hamster, why should somebody else do it, get down there, save the hamster, be gentle with the blows of air in the mouth, hurry, hurry, hurry..............

Yes. Put you mouth over its snout and inflate its lungs. This will require a very, very small amount of air. Be careful or you will rupture its lungs.

hurry.... drive to the nearest petrol vendor and attach the car tyre pump to the hamster's mouth... that should work, providing the hamster doesnt blow up... lol
