the Oscar is the actual award you win, the 'Academy Awards' is the ceremony that is held to the actors/actresses that acheive and earn the oscar. Usually the association that is in charge of these ceremonies are simply called the 'academy' i know kinda confusing, lol they should just call it the frickin oscars and be done
