Anapolis is situated between Goiânia and Brasília (the Federal capital of Brazil), though a litter closer to the former. It is 45 minutes by car from Goiânia on highway GO 60 and 1 1/2 from Brasilia and is the second largest city in Goiás.

- 12 hrs from Rio de Janeiro
by air:
- 35 minutes from Brasília
- 1 hr 20 minutes from São Paulo
