and no matter how noisy it is around your house, u can still hear the song? Or did u loose that excitement for the icecream truck when you grew up?
Whenever it comes around my neighborhood, I'm always the first one to ask if anyone else heard the icecream truck.♥

oh yes!!summer isn't summer without it!!!when i was growing up us kids could hear it coming miles away!!we'd run in the house,get our quarter and wait[it take him like an hour to come]and all that time we'd be waiting,telling each other what flavor we'd get!![we new the flavors by heart!!!]

I remember those days when I was a little girl, I couldn't wait til I heard it . I use to run home and beg for some money that I can get me one. and it really seemed like summer then. you always expected to hear the ice cream truck coming around the neighborhood.

I love hearing it, but I lived in a really small town for a long time and there was no ice cream truck so I'm amazed that they really do come around!

i still get excited when it comes around becase i love to see the look on the kids face when the hear it or the first time they can tell the person on the ice truck what they want

no i dont get excited like i did when i was a kid i use to jump of the sofa an scream mum mum the icecream mans here i want a icecream quick quick. ive calmed down since then but my kids do it now .

The first few times I heard it in our neighborhood it reminded me of my childhood, but there are only so many times I can listen to "Turkey in the Straw" without losing my mind. They're going to start up here any day now, and I'm already dreading this song.

No, but I run and hide everytime I hear a police siren. Left over from my younger days in the neighborhood. They never could catch me.

i still kinda get excited, but i also have kids now that get excited, and it makes it that much better, my baby had pressed the button yesterday on one of her little musical toys, my son was on the porch "his eyes got huge, and he looks down the road saying "i heard the ice cream truck"..it was hilarious

No, I never had one around as a kid because I lived out in the country, so I don't notice when it is around. I don't even think one comes around now!
