Love actually is easy to find, most people are just looking in the wrong places. If your looking for love FROM someone, then what you are really seeking is the FEELING, not the person. So one creates an illusion of love, but it is truly an addiction to the feelings they get from the other person. That is why it hurts so much when that person doesn't fulfil our expectations to supply that feeling.
So one must first eliminate expectation. The expectation should be on ourselves. Who do you choose to be in a relationship? That is all you have control over.
The second is to accept the other person exactly as they are with room to grow, but without expectation to change for you.
If they aren't right for you now, then they probably won't be later. Besides, don't you want to just be yourself in a relationship? So does your partner.
But yes, Love does exist. It first comes from within. It is a conscience choice and can be shared with others. Real love is a beautiful thing and can happen to anyone. I think many people think that the initial stage of a relationship where you feel all giddy and can't stop thinking about them is love. But that is the addiction. Real love between people is much deeper than that and comes later in the relationship. It may not be as intense or exciting as the "falling in love" stage, but it grows instead of fades, and it is a deeper and more satisfying emotion. You feel free instead of insecure.
But it does need maintaining.
It is a partnership that burns like a fire in the hearth. It must be fed, it must be stoked and maintained to keep the warmth and glow.
Just remember, to be love is to have love. Love yourself first and then others will love you.
Oh, and as far as one special person, no. If that was the case then there would be a lot less couples, right? I think there are many, many people that can be just right for you. The trouble is picking which one ;-)

I believe in love, in being in love and knowing that someone loves me and is in love with me.
I don't know if there is one special person for each of us, but I think there are many people that can make each of us happy.
After many years of marriage I can tell you that I am still truly in love with my husband and he is with me. Of course, we both kissed a lot of frogs first...but in the end, we found each other.
Yes, I truly, with all my heart, believe in love.

Love come when you learn to be patient. It comes to those who wait. It's difficult but it's a journey that two people have to face together. Love is unexplainable and is the one feeling that everyone wants to have and dreams of having.

I believe in love, in the sense that I've felt it and feel lucky to have felt it, but I don't believe in relationships, I think they are overrated.
