Does anyone have an answer to just how many British expatriates that there are living in Crete? It is currently one of the property hotspots around the Mediterranean. It seems an aweful lot of new arrivals are setting up home in the past 12 months. Many are retiring in Crete for its warmer weather compared to UK, and it seems a lot of youngsters are working in Crete these days as well. There must be a lot of Living in Crete "Wannabes" if job seeking ads in Crete forums are anything to judge by.

Most of the British expats live in western Crete, especially in the Apokoronas area.
