Absolutely! The massage therapist has performed a personal service for you and has tweaked it to your preference and needs.
Giving a massage is very laborsome. I've seen therapists come out of the room worn out after an hour or hour and a half of working on a client.
These people are professionals that provide a personal service. The hourly fee goes mostly to the owner of the establishment. The tip is all for the therapist.

If you get a massage at a spa or hotel, a 15% to 20% tip is standard if you were pleased with the services. OR
You can call ahead to ask if tipping is customary at that location.

Yes, you tip them at the counter when you pay. It doesn't matter how much the massage cost and the tip is supposed to be 15-20% of the price of the massage although that is not set in stone.

I am a massage therapist. And I know that it is difficult for people to afford massage. It is nice to get a tip. But I understand when I don't get one.

If you feel that they did a good job and you got a service that you really enjoyed, then that is a way of saying thank you, you made my experience a good one and you should should keep doing what you are doing. If you don't leave one then they think, I must have done something they didn't like. The amount depends on how much you appreciated what they did. If it was good and thank you, then just leave like 10 or 15 percent, if the did an awesome job and you would recommend them to all your friends the leave them more according to the way you feel.

Well, I've never been and I would think the tip would be built in. Eitherway I would say only tip if you really want to don't do it cause you have to. Restaurants is the same thing, at least there you know a tip is somewhat expected, but don't do it if you dont want to either.
