I just had the same problem recently with the high demand for the wii. I eventually found one at sams club. If you are really serious about getting one you can call stores in the morning and wait til they have a shipment then ask if they can put it aside. They get shipments about every two weeks. If you call a lot of stores chances are you may get one pretty fast as they are shipped in different increments.If you just want one and dont care about price i would get it from official sites because with the high demand there may be a lot of people giving false sales.

well i bought mine just under a week ago actually today is a week. and it was just by accident i was in Wal-Mart and i walk by just to look at some games and there it was. i would suggest just head to your local Wal-Mart's,Kmart's, Targets, games stores, Circuit Cities, CompUSA etc,. and keep checking these places they get shipments in all the time but usually only 1 or 2 come in. so you just have to keep checking.
