It's a toss up between the Frontier and the Sahara which was just sold. The Frontier has needed to go for at least ten years, it sits on a large block of land in a hot location> Now that Wynn is across the street. Having the Frontier across the street from Wynn is a bit like putting up a McDonalds by the Washinton Monument.

The Sahara was just sold and it's days are numbered, I would give it two years.

My order of implosion
Frontier
Sahara
Tropicana
Riviera
Imperial Palace
Circus Circus
Bellagio> :-) Just Kidding!!

Circus Circus >should be, first on the list but MGM-Mirage says they need one dump for the budget minded. Though I'm not sure why they could not build a "nice" inexpensive place for their valued guests.

I don't see the Imperial Palace going anytime soon. There is not much land with this property. The only way to go is up. Though I do agree, this place needs to go and the sooner the better.

The stardust is the next to be imploded. After that, it is probably going to be the Imperial Palace. Every one says it is rundown and drab. Otherwise I think it will be the travelodge.

Why so much negativity surrounding the Imperial Palace. For the budget minded visitior the IP has so much to offer, great rates, an awesome steak house, clean rooms, decent pool area, great comps, and a second to none location. I have to believe those of you that trash the IP have never stayed there, they are as good as any casino/hotel in NJ.

my preference would be the Imperial Palace as well....why?? The place just smells bad although I have only been in there twice.

I sometimes wonder about the Barbary Coast...great location but probably not a big piece of property. I would think the Flamingo would swallow it up if it was available.

Mostly I am glad to see the Boardwalk gone.
