He says that we should honor the "don't ask don't tell" policy that we have. Is that not hypocritical! You can go die for your country as long as you don't say openly "you are gay"You will be condoning homosexuality if gays are openly admitted to the armed forces. Do you persieve that homosexuality and wether it is moral or immoral has anything to do with loyalty, courage, and right to fight for our nation?

I personally dont see it as an issue, and feel the only reason it is is the LCD mentality.. You have to try to conform to the lowest level of the folks in the military, the ones that are homophobic (read: closet homosexuals who are scared of "finding out" they are gay) and would hurt gay people. Frankly, there are too many people like that in the military, and unlike the rest of the US, there is no way to really separate them from gay people without this pathetic cover of "don't ask, don't tell". The way the military lists it as a mental defect sickens me, though.

well if i was still in the military i wouldnt want to shower with gay guys cause there would be a conflict of interest. When i was 17 i worked with one who constantly harassed me wanting to go out even after i told him i wasnt gay. I finally had to answer him with my fists as it was the only option i had left. The military would be a situation where you could not sidestep a situation like that and there would be a lot of fights i think.

Homosexuality is immoral. It is really that plain and simple; get over it.
