I took the depo shot several yrs back and I had nausea the entire 3 months, needless to say, never took it again!!! It can be a side effect of the shot. Wish someone had told me, I would not ever do that again!!! Good Luck and count down the days!!!

I doubt you are pregnant and are probably having nasty side effects from the medicine. You can take a pregnancy test to be sure but if it is negative you best bet is to not get the shot again.

That stuff is HORRIBLE!! STOP TAKING IT!!! Go to depoproverahorrorstories.com I am only 27 years old and have osteoporosis because I took depo provera for so long!! It causes major bone loss along with many, many other problems!! It can also sterilize you after two years use. Good luck!

My friend was on this shot and it was too strong for her. She had pregnancy symptoms until they finally changed her birth control. Maybe you should mention the patch they have. And also there is this new thing out called NuvaRing. I have used it. It's really easy and you just change it every month. Hope you get everything worked out though. I know how it is......

I'd call your doctor, they can tell you if its a side effect, a pregnancy or unrelated.
