What do you think of the Victoria Cross being given to the Unknown Soldier? Wasn’t he laid to rest at the War Memorial to represent all of us? Having a Victoria Cross doesn’t really represent us does it? I think you’ll agree we’ve all done some pretty outstanding things but nothing worthy of that. I don’t agree with this one bit. What do you think?

I think that Canadian forces are left out of history too much.
During D-day Juno beach was assaulted by Canadian forces and advanced further in Normandy than anyone else that day.

The Canadian VC was created in 1993 and as far as I know has never been awarded. Perhaps the first one was awarded to honour all those unknown soldiers. It might mean they're considering awarding it again.

he deserves it, he was laid to rest to represent all soldiers, not all of us human beings, and not only has he given his life, hes given his identity, his family never even able to give him a burial, not being able to be laid to rest next to his lover if he had one, which is much more of a sacrfice then most people will ever give, if he doesn't deserve it, who does?
