2 - a faded reddish shirt with tan vest

4 - well, it wasn't due to sex. if i remember, he had been chasing a criminal.
5 - he resigned as Marshal Dillon.
6 - he had the affair with Michael Learned (from the Waltons) ...Jim Davis, maybe.
