How about $500,000?

No. I like my meat and potatoes.
I will not accept ANY amount of money.
Thanks anyway.

Tough question, especially when you up the ante to $500,000.
To me a meal is not a meal without meat of some form or another. When I eat a meal without meat I feel like I missed the main course. If I were really going to agree to becoming a vegetarian for $500,000 I would have to think about it for a day or two.

Certainly! The flesh of dead animals and birds is not the only way (some say not the best way) to get the protein the body needs. My family are not vegetarian, but eat a balanced diet of fruit, veg and eggs most of the time. Excluding meat is only a short step from there.
Incidentally, raising beef cattle for their meat is a very inefficient method of creating edible protein, and (at least dairy) cows produce as much methane as the average car, I hear.
Lesson - don't stand downwind of a cattle drive!

For $500,000 I would. As it is, I’ve cut down on meat intake and I’m getting tired of chicken. I would miss seafood but there are so many interesting and delicious vegetarian dishes that I’m sure I could adjust rather easily.

Why not? I'd fo it for FREE just for the simple fact that I am contributing to world hunger. It takes more grain and fields being consumed to raise animals and have them eaten then to grow the grain and good for humans. I became a vegetarian about a month ago and i'm more energized and stress free than ever. If humans were meant to be carnivorous we would have had stronger jaws and longer teeth. Stop being selfish and killing all the animals and contribute to humanity for once and just maybe your soul might be saved. Ignorance might be bliss but it won't save your life. You reap what you sow

Heck yeah, when my husband and I were first married, we were so poor we couldnt afford meat so we lived as vegetarians for about a year. The trick is to find some really good vegetarian cookbooks and just experiment.

Anyone making that offer would be ridiculous.
Any one who eats meat is already a vegetarian.

You see, You are what you eat. ALL animals either eat vegetables (grass or something) or eat other animals that do eat vegetables. So, all animals are just natures way of processing grass, in other words, are vegetables. So, eating a nice steak is just eating processed grass and therefor a vegetarian meal.

If it was never again, then no. I'd need at least 50 mil to give up meat for life. I'd give it up for a year for 100 k, and five years for 500 k.

The money sure sounds nice but I cant imagine a life without steak, burgers, pepperoni pizza, a fat ham at Christmas, prime rib dinner, etc. Guess I will be a broke carnivore instead of a rich vegetarian................

I would do it for 100,000. I would do it for 500,000 in a heart beat! I'm poor and far in debt!
