They come in all shapes, sizes, races but I cross paths with a lot black miserable people. No offense to my race but they always have a disgusting look on their faces. They roll their eyes. THey curse at you for no apparent reason. It freaking sucks the way they act. I continue with a smile on my face because I know I am not the cause of their miserliness. BUt it is sincerely sickening to be around these people even if you're around for one stop on the train station

Sure, we all do. There is a solution, don't hang w/them. Misery loves company so they'll try to bring you down and when they can't, they will move on or you can. I don't know about the "black" thing. Believe it or not, I do not know any black people well enough to hang with. My husband works w/a women who fits your description, some people get stuck in that rut and don't know to get out...I wouldn't want to live that way!

I cross paths with miserable people on a daily basis, I work as a medical intake specialist at an open door clinic. Opening the doors to the clinic is like opening a flood gate of misery, ignorance, and laziness. If there ever was a museum for miserable people it is this place, and the funny thing is that their misery is created by there own laziness. If some of these people would get a job and stop doing meth they wouldn't be so sick and miserable all of the time. But explaining that theory to these people is like explaining quantum physics to a 3 year old. Don't get me wrong, some of the people are actually descent people with real illnesses, but the majority of them are scum who decide to leach off of society and blame you because the doctor won't give them anymore methadone.

I dont think what you are discribing is people being miserable. I think it is just people not being socialable. Sometimes people just have a bad day, I think your wrong about it being blacks. I think it is more of an age thing than a race thing. I work at a grocery store during summer and winter break and its the old people that try to make your life a living hell. Maybe the reason its more black people for you because you cross paths with them more than other races.

Well in this world it is easier for peeps to be miserable than not.

As long as you have a good attitude and a big smile on your face that's all that matters...they roll their eyes because they envy your positivity...they could only hope to be that happy...don't let it bother you darling...you're not trying to be better than anyone, but they will think that.

Just be you and if your happy let the world know...Next time you encounter a miserable person and they're mean to you just smile and don't say a word. This will hurt more than any words.

peace and happiness

It seems like there are more and more miserable people out there, which just breeds other people trying to make others as miserable as they are. It's not a race thing it's not an age thing, it's just a people thing. It's sad.

Don't let the devil in some become the devil in you! You sound sweet, but, you also know the difference with how american cultures show thier feelings. There are subtle ways to confront eye rolls and scowls and I think you know how to rise above that and deal well with all folks. Thanks for that question!
