ok i hate flippin preps. even more i hate preps who say they like an awsome band, like i don't know AFI or something, and say they've been fans forever. most of the time they'd never even heard of the band til they release ONE song that they kind of like. does this bother anyone else?

ok i hate preps becausae for some reason they hate me. so don't go calling me the bad guy. i'm just returnig the hate. and i don't hate all preps, just most. my best friend is a prep and i'm emo. we really freak people out when we hang out together. but she is my friend because she is not like the others who spend all their time in front of a mirror. i don't have a problem with all, just most. (and if you have a problem with that or me you can go and glue your lips to your butt so that you can actually suck ***. this is my opinion you you queermoe)

You shouldn't hate one particular "group" of people because a few are a**holes. I'm here to tell you people who say they've known AFI for years, are all lying. They know nothing and all shop at hot topic and only know "Miss Murder" They are what we call "fad fans" As soon as this retarded "emo" craze ends things should be ok. You're not emo, there is no such thing as an emo person. Emo isn't short for "emotional" its short for emotive hardcore, then later became emocore. It originated in the 80s and died out in the 90s. Its NOT MCR, Panic! at the dicso, Fall Out Boy and most certainly NOT AFI. You'd NEVER hear real emo on MTV or radio. There is no such thing as AN emo, just emo, the subgenre of punk.
smartpatrol9, AFI not punk, they been around for 16 years, and were a very respected hadcore punk band. Have you even listened to their music at all? The first 3 albums are pure quality punk. Are you one of those people that think that AFI is an overnight success? they aren't, they've been underground for the most part of their career and have toured endlessly to support themselves. AFI doesn't know punk? Do you know who their influences are? Your lucky some elitest hasn't seen what you put, because they'd beat your a** for what you put.

I'm a prep and I don't take kindly to th-JUST KIDDIN!!Yeah preps are very annoying*sometimes*.I mean if you've liked the band for soo long how come you never talked about them till now?I think that they're just trying to get even more people to love them*Please don't think I'm dissin or nothing.I'm really neutral,preps are just really annoying sometimes *.Then again some preps really do like that kind of stuff.You never know

Have you heard of anything by AFI other than the singles? Have you heard any of their early records?
Go listen to their earliest songs. If say that's not punk, then you don't know punk. And I don't mean 3 years ago. I mean atleast 12 years ago. This band has been hitting it for 16 f*cking years. They don't know hardcore or punk? I think you're the one who don't know sh*t.
Most likely you've just heard of AFI. If you were into punk and discovered AFI back when they were still a very respected underground punk band back in the days, you wouldn't say that sh*t that just came staright out of your as/s.

AFI sucks. Plain and simple. You are a poser. You could not name a punk band if your life depended on it. Look up "The Middle Class". They released "Out Of Vogue" in 1977, and it was the first hard core punk 7 inch ever. AFI has no idea what punk or hard core is. Try listening to real punk like Black Flag, Doom, Antischism, Negative Approach, Joy division, Citizens Arrest, etc.
Stop complaining about preps, you're no better than they are. You simply exploit your "individuality" by putting others down. Yeah, the popular kids are annoying, but then again, you are too. Stop acting like you know real music.

not really..people are who they wanna be and you gotta respect them for that same reason they respect you for being what you are....of course this does not apply to high school..most groups are pointless and almost all members will completely change once they graduate
